1. You lie to yourself on MyFitnessPal to make it look like your always under your daily calorie goals. Nobody needs to know about that extra slice of cake in the office, right?

2. Whenever you finish a workout, you calculate how many extra calories it means you can drink at the weekend. One 60 minute Legs, Bums and Tums class and 2 Body Attack classes means at LEAST 3 bottle of Prosecco.

3. You have Pinterest boards full of 'Fitspo' and 'Body Goals'. However you always find yourself way more engrossed in the '#FoodPorn' boards. Did somebody say deep fried cookie dough?!

4. If you didn't tweet/instagram/snapchat that 9am spin class, it didn't happen. THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW YOU WORKED OUT.

5. You always buy clothes a size smaller, for motivational purposes. ....Three years later you find them crumpled up in the back of your wardrobe- labels intact, and STILL not stretching over your thighs. gr8.

6. You start a new diet every Monday morning. But by dinner time you've already scoffed a packet of crisps and fun size Mars bar.

7. You always go straight for the salad option on the menu whenever you dine out. Until you realise the chicken Caesar salad actually has more calories in it than the steak pie and chips.

8. You read a blog about superfoods and presume this means it's acceptable to eat unlimited amounts of each. 1 tablespoon of peanut butter = 90 calories. That ladle you just inhaled? THOUSANDS.

9. You look through old photos of yourself and wish you were as 'fat' as you were when you first thought you were fat. *Cries*

10. You wonder why the hell you aren't losing any weight?!?!?! And then you realise you had three breakfasts and a Maccys for dinner.

In the wise words of Khloe K....

After getting my first set of lip fillers waaaaay back in 2014, (read about it here) I have been dying to get them done again, but never really got round to it. Originally I got them done in Sheffield at a dental clinic, but now that I live back in Preston it's not like I can just pop round. There are SO many lip filler horror stories in the press at the moment, and although I'm not stupid enough to go to somebody who isn't registered, or book something on impulse just because they have a huge money-saving offer on, I still needed to do my research.

I noticed a company called Flawless Cosmetics pop up quite often on my Twitter and Insta-feeds, so when my friend mentioned about getting them done before we go to Barcelona next month I started doing some serious stalking. They have thooousands of followers, the majority of which seem to be happy customers as opposed to spam accounts, and there are so many examples of previous work, ranging from 0.55ml all the way up to 5ml! So it made it a lot easier for me to get inspired for how big I wanted to go!

It just so happened that Holly had a cancellation last Saturday and could squeeze us in! We drove to Zest in Liverpool where she was based for the day. We both decided to opt for 1ml and Holly used a thick Juvaderm filler as I explained that I wanted a really full pout- plus it lasts longer! I won't lie- IT HURT SO BAD! Way more than I remembered. The middle of the lip is so sensitive and I could feel the Juvaderm being moulded into the shape of my lips and UGH it was such a weird sensation. And not the good kind.

Before & After!
OK, so my lip wasn't THAT thin before lollllz. But I feel like it was significantly smaller than my bottom lip, and it bothered my that it turned completely non-existent when I smiled or laughed. So I wanted my lips evened out and plumped up. I really like the shape of my lips so Holly made sure to accentuate that.

(PS- my sunglasses were from the QUAY x CHRISSPY collection which is sold out, but THESE are the closest alternative I could find!)

Sarah's lips the day after
..........AAAAAND the not-so glamorous part of getting fillers- THE BRUISING. And the swelling. But remember- we have just been stabbed several times in the mouth with a needle so what do you expect? The photo above was taken the day after, as you  can see Sarah's bruising is so bad! But this will eventually reduce.

Excuse the unflattering screen shots from my Snapchat story but I wanted to show how swollen my top lip was yesterday! I kind of felt like the elephant man but I LOVE a full, juicy set of lips and already can't wait to go back to get a top up in around six months time.

Would you ever get lip fillers? What are your thoughts on cosmetic surgery?

Lancaster Tan Maximizer
An absolute god send for those wanting to hold on to their well-earned holiday glow for as long as possible. i.e ME. I never pass through duty free without stocking up.

Eylure 141 Lashes
The ONLY style of eyelashes I wear! I have been wearing 141's for yeeeeears now, and I would never buy anything else. They are affordable, reuse-able and I absolutely love the style- it makes your eyes look huge! Plus they're always on 3-for-2 offers so they're perfect for stocking up before you go on holiday!

EOS Balm
I randomly picked one of these up a few months ago when I was in the queue at River Island, and nowI am obsessed! The little balls are so cute (never thought I would ever see myself writing THAT sentance) and the flavours are dreamy. Plus you just roll them over your lips so no sticky hands! My favourite is honeydew melon.

Cloud Nine Waving Wand
I've banged on about this wand enough now for everyone to know how obsessed with it I am! (Hurry- it's currently on sale!)

GHD Air Rose Gold
Before you ask- YES the colour does make all the difference alright?! This hairdryer is an absolute MUST for people with long hair. Drying your hair is a chore anyway, never mind when you're in 30 degree humidity on your holidays! It almost halves the normal length of time it takes to dry my hair, therefore halving the stress level I get to before I contemplate giving up and shaving my head. Result!

Essie Polish in 'Fiji'
A gorgeous colour, especially with a tan!

MAC Lipliner in 'Stripdown'
I am obsessed with this liner, I use it to almost fill in my lips completely before covering with my NYX lip creme, it stays on all day!

NYX Matte Lip Creme in 'Abu Dhabi'
I love all the NYX lip cremes, but Abu Dhabi is my favourite. I wear it almost every day!

NARS Audacious Lipstick in 'Vanessa'
Slightly on the pricier side, I save this for nights out as opposed to wasting it on the day. The formula is so creamy and luxurious- as you would expect from NARS!

NARS Illuminator in 'Laguna'
Another amazing NARS product! This is perfect for holidays as you can mix it with your foundation as your tan deepens, or wear it alone as a bronzer for more of a sheer coverage. Win-win!

Soleil Tan De Chanel
My 'desert island' beauty product- I just can't live without it! Similar to the NARS Laguna, this is a universal product so will suit all skin types. For paler tones, mix with a little moisturiser before you apply, or if you're like me then just trowel it on! I wear it alone as a foundation as it has such a gorgeous finish and gives me such a natural glow! One of the beauty products I buy again and again without fail.

Redken Anti-Snap Treatment
Again, a holiday must-have! Especially for those with long or coloured hair. Apply a small amount to the ends of your hair after it has been towel dried, then leave it to work it's magic!

Giorgio Armani 'Si'
Such a gorgeous fragrance! It's my 2016 holiday perfume as it is light enough to wear during the day, but intense enough to wear out at night. Another winner!

Tangle Teezer
If you don't already own one of these then the only explanation is that you have been living under a rock for the last 3 years.

NUXE Shimmering Dry Oil
Accentuate your tanned pins with this luxurious dry oil. As well as making them look INSANE, it also hydrates, firms and conceals perfections.

Slightly delayed post, but I have been SO keen to post all my recent activity that I completely forgot about my weekend in Leicester with my baby Sarah! I'm not gonna lie- I didn't even know that Leicester had a racecourse, but who am I to turn down an event where I can glam myself up and quaff champers all day? Exactly.

Barbie & Ken
I had a bit of a nightmare finding a dress actually- I had my heart set on a bright marigold one from Topshop, but when I eventually tracked one down in my size, I didn't really like it as much. I spent the day before the races in Manchester frantically rummaging through EVERY shop for a dress but again- no luck. It was only when I got home and realised I still had this little Barbie number in my wardrobe that I knew I had found my dress. It's actually Sarah's from yeeeeeeears ago- thank hun!

My pink dress is an old one from ASOS
Shoes: Kurt Geiger

Sarahs bodysuit is Missguided
Skirt: Next
Shoes: Next

(Can you tell she works at Next...*eyeroll*)

For my make-up I used: (click for links)
Foundation: MAC Studio Fix Fluid with Urban Decay Surreal Skin over the top
Contour: NYX contour stick in 'almond'
Brows: NYX Tame & Frame Pomade (which I recently reviewed here)
Eyelashes: Eylure 141's
Liquid eyeliner: Rimmel Glam Eyes
Blushers: A Chanel one but I don't know the name sorrryyyy & MAC Soft & Gentle

Hair: My Cloud 9 Waving Wand OF COURSE!

Have you been to any races this year? Whenever I've been, I completely forget to bet and just spend all my time at the bar! CHEERS

So today marks 15 YEARS since Elle Woods graced our screen in Legally Blonde! (WOW I feel old.) So to celebrate I have put together some iconic quotes from the film that we can all like, totally learn from...

Self explanatory. Sorry guys.

Again, self explanatory.

*Digs out Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo DS*

Push yourself! Take risks and step outside your comfort zone. You just might surprise yourself!

If Cosmo didn't say it then it isn't true. *paints nails emoji*

Stop doubting yourself, work hard and positive things will happen.

Better to have been the girl who smiled, than the girl who didn't smile back.

ALWAYS, go the extra mile.

The most iconic dance move in history... DUH!

I am slowly getting to that period of my life where I have spent too much time on Pinterest and am ITCHING to give my bedroom a makeover. I mean, I only moved home in August and since then I have done what I can with my bedroom to turn it into the Pinterest-worthy showroom that I dream about, but have come across various obstacles along the way.
The main obstacle being my mum. She wont let me get new curtains because 'she paid a fortune for them' (they're dark crimson), and as unaesthetically pleasing my mis-matched wardrobes and chests of drawers are, I am NOT forking about £9847984 for new ones.

With a potential move on the horizon again, I couldn't think of a better opportunity to dig out, and add to my 'bedroom inspo' board and see what inspiration I can take for my *potential* new pad.

I love Scandinavian style interiors. The idea of a bright, open space with a huge, south-facing window to provide as much natural light as possible, and a neutral colour scheme of rose quartz, lilac grey, white and charcoal.

Second highest priority has GOT to be a bigger-than-full-length shabby chic, ornate mirror, and a huge dressing table to give all my beloved beauty products a worthy home. (As opposed to being strewn all over the floor and packed away in random drawers around my room like they currently are.) I want an enormous bed with looooads of cushions- of all different sizes and textures, some original, quirky wall art from Society6 (my basket is currently totally over £200 on there) and of course, a fresh bouquet of flowers.

Scroll down to win a bouquet of your own (and a cheeky discount code!)

Peonies are my all time favourite bloom- and they fit with my colour scheme! The team at Blossoming Gifts recently sent me a gorgeous bouquet, and I am giving you the opportunity to win your very own! Simply fill out the rafflecopter below, I will announce the winner on July 31st. Good luck!

SOOOOO saving money hasn't really been my strong point recently, but since I stopped working there a year ago, I haven't really bought much from Topshop. Not because I don't like the clothes, but it's SO easy to buy something that you see during your shift, so if I don't go in store it's kind of an 'out of sight, out of mind' situation. Not to mention the Topshop in Lancaster is literally the size of my car boot. And I drive a Mini.

Instead of filming a haul in my bedroom, I thought I would do a try on! With a little help from my Dad, who now thinks he needs to quit his job and become a photographer after taking a few snaps of me in the garden. I find it so much easier to get inspiration when I see the clothes actually worn, as opposed to me holding them up on camera, so I hope this post inspires you to go out and spend all your hard earned savings on some new season goodness! Muahahahaha! (I have tried to include links to the products where I can!)
Leather jacket: ZARA
Striped tee: ASOS
Skirt: Topshop
Platform shoes: Topshop

Marabou feather cardigan: Topshop
Dress: Topshop
Sunglasses: Topshop
Python print boots: River Island

(Note: apart from the sunglasses, this outfit is actually really old, but it was what I was wearing before I started shooting so I thought I may as well have a photo in it!)

Top: River Island
Trousers: Topshop Boutique
Duster jacket: Topshop
Trainers: New Balance

Top: Topshop (be quick though, I think it's gonna be a sellout!)
Jeans: Topshop
Sunglasses: Topshop
Shoes: erm. #hippylife

Last weekend I spent the day in Manchester shopping for an outfit for Ladies Day at the Leicester racecourse. Long story short- it was an absolute F-A-I-L. I couldn't find anything I liked, my favourite stores were full of sale trash which had been strewn all over the shop floor and my feet hurt. However, this happened to be a blessing in disguise as I am trying to start being less impulsive with my spending, and it encouraged me to dig out an old treasure that I had forgotten I even owned! (Will post this later on in the week)

I keep promising to do more OOTD posts, so here was my outfit!

Velvet choker: Boohoo
Mustard leather jacket: ZARA
Oversized white shirt: Boohoo
Black Jeans: River Island (style is called 'Molly')
Shoes: Kurt Geiger

And how could I post an OOTD without a FOTD?! I recently picked up the Rimmel 'Glam Eyes' liquid eyeliner and the applicator is so fine it makes drawing a perfect wing SO much easier!
