MET GALA 21014: Best and worst

Widely considered to be fashioned most glamorous event of the year, this year's Met Gala red carpet looks didn’t disappoint. I must admit I'm not really too sure what the Met Gala even is, apart from that it is hosted by Anna Wintour and thriving with A-listers.
My invatation muist have got lost in the post, which is probably a good thing as I would have had to decline anyway due to the rediculous amount of uni work I have on my plate this week. Anyway after spending my morning scowering the net for all the outfits, I have compiled a few of my favourite, and not-so favourite looks.
Number one HAS to be Kendall Jenner. After establishing her position in the world of fashion last year when she walked for huge names such as Chanel and Marc Jacobs in PFW, Kendall has sky rocketed her way into the style stakes. She even managed to outshine big sister Kim in this stunning bespoke Topshop design.
And coming in at a close second place is the Beckhams. The stylish duo looked the white-tie dream in their matching monochrome ensembles.
Rih-Rih balances the perfect amount of edgy and elegant in this two-piece. I love how you still see her tattoos peeking out underneath the crop. Never mind her absolutley bangin body!
Chloƫ Grace Moretz in Chanel Couture. She looks like a dusty old Victorian doll in this get-up. Everything from her creepy smile, to the doily-esque ruffles on the dress, to the Edwardian school girl hairstyles. I feel like if I stare at her for too long she will appear in my dreams tonight and kill me.

Have I died and gone to flapper girl hell? Lupita Nyong'o  looks an absolute mess in this in Prada number. What even is it?! Im sure I used to have one of those beaded door curtains hanging over my door when I was going through my hippy phase at Secondary school.
It was cinco de mayo yesterday though, perhaps she got confused and turned up to the wrong party. The theme was white tie Lupita...
What were your best and worst looks from the Met Gala?

  1. Secondary school hippy phase! Lmao, weren't they the worst.
