green smoothie diet...week 1

I am pleased to announce I have not strayed off the band wagon ONCE this week! to be fair I don't really have a choice, I am NOT going to let this broken leg make me get fat. Especiallyyyy in the run up to Christmas. So if you didn't read my last post, basically I'm just drinking a green smoothie (a drink made from 100% vegetables, mainly spinach, and a few fruits) in replacement of 2 meals a day, and then for lunch iv just had something healthy. 

obviously with a heffer of a cast on my leg there is absolutley no chance of me weighing myself, but I feel so much less bloated and my stomach feels a lot flatter. Im so excited to see how I feel and look after week 2! Also, this is the first time in about 3 years where I haven't touched a drop of alcohol for over 2 weeks, which will make a huge difference because alcohol has sooooo many calories! (Especially the amount I usually drink..oops)

a few of this weeks smoothies! ingredients I have used this week include spinach (every time), cucumber, celery (only use small amounts because the taste is so hard to disguise!), blueberries, frozen summer berries (cherries, blackberries, red currants), banana, pear, avacado, mango, goji berries,various seeds, and I top it up with various fruit juices (fresh) or almond milk and ice.

iv even managed to convert a few of the girls to it, and all my mums work colleagues are loving it! so go green! (Cringe) and let me know how you get on!
